DESIGN :: Tom Dixon heads up Design Research Studio, who recently completed Tazmania Ballroom, Hong Kong. The owner’s British schooling inspired this contemporary version of a private British gentlemen’s club.
The ‘glamourous games room’ features a luxury pool hall with gold-plated tables that hydraulically lift to the ceiling to create Asia’s largest dance floor. part bar, part dining venue, part night club - it’s no surprise the lavish interior features many of Dixon designed furniture and lighting.
